On the westbanks of
Luxor in Deir el Bahari is the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut who lived during the 18th
Dynasty. The temple contains many terraces built into the cliff. The first terrace is enclosed. It has 22 pillars and two Osiris pillers. The central ramps lead to the second terrace. It contains square pillars. The second ramp leads to the top terrace. |
