and Historical Fiction. Students will choose a
historical fiction book to read and discuss.
November 6-10 --
November 13-17 --
Students will discuss the historical fiction book they have
completed during book talks. Students will write a basic
review of the book they read.
November 20-24 -- Thanksgiving story and word puzzle.
Continue book talks.

January 15-19 --
"Step #4: Use of Information" Emphasizes reading
for information and note taking. "Step #5
Synthesis" Organizing and presenting information.
"Step #6: Evaluation" How do I know I've done a good job?

Review --write out the meanings of the topics and what you
must do to accomplish the task.
