January 2008--Welcome Back to School.

January 7 The Big 6 will be our focus of study for the next few weeks. We will work on each step of the process beginning with "Step #1:  Task Definition." Websites that might prove useful can be found here.
January 14 "Step #2: Information Seeking Strategies" and "Step #3:  Location and Access". Discuss copyright laws and plagiarism.
January 21  "Step #4:  Use of Information" emphasizes reading for information and note taking  
January 28  "Step #5 Synthesis"  Organizing and presenting information. "Step # 6:  Evaluation"  How do I know I've done a good job?"
