Second grade is a time to learn and do many things.  This is the time for enjoying our favorite stories.  Some of us have missing front teeth.  We like being writers and illustrators.  We are getting better at checking our work.  Sometimes we work alone and sometimes in groups.  We learn lots of new things in mathematics.  Second grade is a year for discovering new things!

Mountain City Elementary has two second grade classes. Our teachers are Ms. Wilson and Ms. Motsinger.
