Operation Christmas Child
| Mountain City Elementary students participate in Operation Christmas Child. In this program students pack shoe boxes with small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other small objects. | |
This year the boxes were sent to needy children in Bosnia, Russia, and other countries. Boxes went to 60 countries in 1999. The boxes arrived in time for the children to have a Christmas gift.
