Some Ideas for Using the Vocabulary Cards

Measurement Vocabulary Cards

1. Divide into Customary and Metric
2. Divide into Capacity, Weight or Mass, and Length
3. After dividing into Capacity, Weight or Mass, and Length sequence from Least to Most or vice versa

   Example:

   Customary	Metric
   inch	centimeter
   foot	decimeter
   yard	meter
   mile	decameter
   	hectometer
   	kilometer

Geometry Vocabulary Cards

1. Use toothpicks to illustrate geometry shapes with straight lines, then match the toothpick shape to the vocabulary card.
