Five MCE students will be receiving a computer and internet services for one year in the first round of the Johnson County Board of Education’s "Computers for Students" program. Congratulations to Miranda Porter, Rebekah Adams, Erica Blackburn, Nathan Smith and Alyssa Ringwald.

Grant Money

We want to thank Jack Cress at Mountain View Exxon for helping our school receive $500.00 from the ExxonMobil Education Alliance. We have received a $600.00 grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission. MCE has also received $3,468.61 in mini-grants from National Textiles.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Attendance – WOW!

Our attendance for the first nine weeks is 96.6. This is amazing! Let’s keep it up!

Johnson County Report Card Celebration

Students celebrated our good report card grades by participating in an assembly in the gym. Each grade level performed a math cheer before the entire student body and school staff. School staff members also performed a cheer. Student grade level cheers were judged by a panel of judges. Winners were third grade from the K-3 level, and sixth grade from the 4-6 grade level. Every grade did a fantastic job.

Dear Families,

Just a reminder that I am at MCE three days a week, and can work with your child any time you need me. I am here on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. You can leave a message any time at 727-8512. If your child has family or school issues that I could be of help with, please let me know. Some issues that families often ask for help with include the death of a loved one, friendship problems, anger problems, bullying, extreme shyness, and many other problems. Please call or come by if I can be of any help to your child. I hope all of you have a happy and safe holiday season.
