PTO Meeting

     The next meeting has been changed to Tuesday, November 14th  at 6:30.

 Christmas Programs

      On December 4th , grades K-2 will present their Christmas Program at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. On December 5th,  grades 3-4 will present their Christmas Program at 6:00 p.m. in the gym.  Also on December 5th, grades 5-6 will present their program at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.

     Please plan to join us.

AmeriCorps Projects

     Mrs. Long’s class is recording books on tape for the CDC classroom.  They are recycling aluminum cans to finance the purchase of the tapes for this project.  Mrs. Bowling’s class is studying about veterans.  They are having a “penny war” with Mrs. Walters’ class.  The winning class will receive an ice cream party.

 Mr. Henley’s class raised $236.00 by holding a carwash.  The money raised will be donated to the Humane Society.  Mrs. Compton’s class is working on a project to beautify the school grounds on the Highway 421 side of the building.  The plants  have been donated by NECC Complex and Johnson County Vocational School.
