Cut hot-dogs into fourths lengthwise so that they look like worms. Heat them for  a few seconds in the microwave oven. This will cause the hot-dogs to curl slightly resembling worms.

Students dip the "worms" into ketchup, mustard, horseradish, Worcestershire, lemon, etc. Make a graph of condiment favorites. Use a spreadsheet to convert your graph into a nice display.

Trout, salmon, flounder, perch,
I'll ride my minibike into church.
Dace, tuna, haddock, trout,
Wait'll you hear the minister shout.

Fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish fish.

Shark, haddock, sucker, eel,
I'll race my father in his automobile.
Eel, flounder, bluegill, shark,
We'll race all day till after dark. "

What could you say to a friend to get him or her to eat a worm?
