1. Vocabulary word for Prereading is utopia. (An ideally perfect place, especially in its social, political, and moral aspects. )

Enlarge the map of Dinotopia below onto a piece of posterboard. Laminate the completed map. Using poster putty and a string, map Arthur and Will's journey across Dinotopia as you read the book.

Have students chose one dinosaur mentioned in the book to study.
