During Tennessee Space Week our school has a shuttle throw contest. Students in the school make paper airplanes "shuttles". Each class has a contest to determine which shuttle will go the longest distance. Class winners complete in a grade level contest. Grade level winners compete to determine the school winner. Winners receive a treat bag full of space related school supplies and candy, i.e. Mars bars, Star Burst, etc.
