A weasel is a small mammal that grows six to fourth inches long. Their coat is light brown with a white belly. They have long slender bodies which help them follow their prey into their burrows. Weasels like to eat small animals such as poultry and rabbits. In US culture the term weasel refers to a tricky, scheming, underhanded person. |

The population in Ohio in 1800 was 45,365 persons in 1800. By 1810 the population had increased to 230,760. By 1820 this number doubled, and the population grew to 2,000,000 in 1850.
Most Ohio residents were farmers raising wheat, corn, and other grain crops. The raised livestock as well. By 1849 Ohio was the highest producer of corn than any other state.
Johnny Appleseed, John Chapman, was born in 1774. He helped develop apple orchards in Ohio. Due to the climate Ohio is a prime location for raising apples and peaches.
