If you have any worksheet the students have not finished from the unit we completed earlier on plants and animals students can complete them this week.

Day 1

Start experiments to prove plants need roots, sunlight, water, soil, etc. Use the plants in the small plastic containers. Try the following:

• Place one in the dark.

• Don't water one.

• Cut off the leaves with one.

• Remove the roots on one.

• Take proper care of one.

• etc.

Have students observe the plants each day, and talk about what a plant needs in order to be healthy.
