Day 1 Landforms 4.9.spi.1
1. Review plant and animal cells
Show pictures of plant and animal cells. Have students identify cell wall, cell membrane, nucleus, & chloroplast.

producer - organisms that make their own food from sunlight and/or chemical energy from deep sea vents
consumers - organisms that eat producers or other consumers -- These come in different levels depending on what they eat:
Primary consumers (eat primary producers): cows, rabbits, tadpoles, ants, zooplankton, mice.
Secondary consumers (eat primary consumers) : frogs, small fish, krill, spiders.
Tertiary consumers (eat secondary consumers): snakes, raccoons, foxes, fish.
Quaternary consumers (eat tertiary consumers): wolves, sharks, coyotes, hawks, bobcats
