Cooking is an integral part of our classroom. Below you will see a few examples of our cooking projects.

While reading Pirates Past Noon the students hid chocolate coins "the pirate's treasure" throughout the campus. Next the students worked in teams to draw treasure maps showing where the treasure was hidden. The teams exchanged the maps, then followed them to find the hidden "treasure". After the treasure hunt we made these edible treasure chests from cake and various candies. Boy, it was yummy!!

cake1.jpg (18229 bytes) We had a great time making an Egyptian cake. We made the pyramid from puffed rice cereal and marshmallows, the Nile River from green sugar, and ships from oranges and cookies.
