Lesson 3 - Imagery Part 2

Choose one of the photos below. These are thumbnails to larger photos. Print the large photo. As you look at the photograph pretend you are Brian and this is the Canadian wilderness. You are seeing, feeling, experiencing the area for the first time. Fill in the chart below with descriptive words describing what you are experiencing.

Now use the words to write a paragraph. Imagine you have just stepped into the wilderness for the first time. You look around. Describe what you feel, see, hear, smell, etc. What are you doing? Do you try to walk around? Do you simply stand still and watch? Include this information in your paragraph.
