To make a title in Paint Shop Pro

Select the colors for the background and text.

Select

File

New

 

1000 by 1000 is a good size to begin, You may crop out the extra later.

The A is the icon for type. After clicking on the A click on your image and a box will appear.

Select font name, size, etc. Type your message in the designated window; then click OK. You may click on and drag your text to center it.

Next select "Selections"

Then "None"

Select the crop tool.

Click on one corner of the area you wish to keep. Drag to form a rectangle around your title. Double click inside the rectangle to cut off the extra.
