Part 3  Building Your Remaining Pages

Step 1 Organize

At this point I recommend you build folders on your flash or disk for each of your chapters. It will make changing and deleting much easier.

Step 2 Build a Pattern Page

Next build a simple page without floating hearts or bubbles and without frames. These are the pages parents may wish to print for scrapbooks and such.

I suggest you open your background image in Paint Shop Pro. Use the medicine dropper to pick up the color. You will see three numbers under the color. These stand for how much red, green, and blue the color has.

Open a blank page using the directions in Part 1. When you get to the step where you see this box type in the three number into the lower right corner. Your new page will have a perfect color match.

Step 3 Save

Type a title for this page. For example

Save As

You will notice that the title of your page is listed as the URL and title for the page. Save in the folder you created in Step 1.

Take this same page and save it as many time as needed, changing the title on the page and in the title on the "save as" box. Change the URL each time. Your new page name should not have any capital letters or spaces.

Step 4  Add Information

Open each page and add information, photos, or clipart. Save frequently.
